Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 April 2026
This is a general terms page for visitors and customers. Your subscription or enterprise agreement, if any, may add or override specific terms.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of companywali's website, marketing pages, and any software or services we offer (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
3. Subscriptions, trials and billing
Paid plans, free trials, renewals and refunds are described at checkout and in your order or subscription agreement. Fees are charged in the currency and on the billing cycle shown when you subscribe. You may cancel according to the cancellation flow in the product; access may continue until the end of the paid period unless stated otherwise.
4. Acceptable use
You will not misuse the Services: no unlawful activity, no attempt to probe or breach our systems, no scraping that overloads our infrastructure, and no use of the Services to violate tax law or assist others in doing so. You remain solely responsible for your professional judgments, filings and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Intellectual property
companywali and its licensors own the Services, including software, branding, documentation and content we provide. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Services according to these Terms. You retain ownership of data you submit; you grant us the rights needed to operate and improve the Services (for example hosting, backups and support).
6. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Automated suggestions or AI-assisted features are aids only and do not replace your professional review or statutory obligations.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, companywali and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the Services in that period (or, if none, one hundred Indian rupees), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
8. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify companywali against third-party claims arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory provisions of law that cannot be waived.
